My trip to the Desert Museum

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Anyway, I took Monday of last week off to go to the Desert Museum down here in AZ. Don’t be jealous ;). Anyway, we saw all sorts of cool stuff form awesome looking rooks to hummingbirds and I thought I might as well share the pictures I took with you.It was hard to pick out just these ones. I was tempted to just upload them all (172 pics, 1GB ;) ). IMG_1870

Here's A mix of Arizona and Colorado eh?

I took these ones of the rocks at a high ISO (ISO 3200), and these photos don’t even look that noisy! The room was barely lit by the spot lights on the rocks.

Then, this wolf decided to pose for all of us photographers ;)

We went to a part of the park where some staff members released some birds. I was able to get this one due to my 50D’s 6fpm speed.

Now, the picture below was hard to get. I had to get as low as I could and shoot up. There wasn’t much room behind me. This was one tall cactus no doubt!

Then it was on to the hummingbirds, this is where my 18-200 EFS lens came in handy.

These bees don’t sting and that’s the truth. The sign said it’s because they have better things to do.

Then we left and went to a scenic outlook.
