If you didn’t know, this is the Colorado River at the Hoover Dam in Nevada. The reason that I took this picture and not of the other way of the river is because when we were visiting, they were building a bridge that will eventually allow traffic to bypass the dam altogether. That bridge was still under construction and still looked pretty ugly. To get this picture, you have to go across Hoover Dam.
