If this picture has already been picture of the week, I’m sorry. I decided to finally get organized so hopefully there will be no repeats in the future. Anyway, This is one of my better photos. Where was this taken? Take a guess. Denver? Nope. Phoenix? No again. Miami? Nada. Las Vegas of course! It’s the famous Bellagio fountains (the hotel itself is insanely expensive) To get this type of shot:
- Switch to Shutter Priority Mode
- Shutter speed depends on what you want it to look like. If you want the water to be in crisp focus, then go up to something like 1/200th. sec. If you want your water softer and more graceful looking, go with around 1/40th sec.
- Set your ISO to auto
- Turn on burst shooting and continuous focus
Specs: 1/40th sec. f/3.5 ISO 800 18mm.
