Tip:Get a starry effect on the sun and lights

Have you ever seen the starry effect on lights and sun? This effect is actually very easy to get. All you need to do is set your f-stop to anything above f/14. Also, you need a relatively slow shutter speed (it varies from scenario to scenario). That’s it, you should be getting that nice starry effect. (this was taken in Oceanside, CA, the trip I just came back from.)
